Save your money. Despite spending $1200.00 per year for insurance, Petplan finds a way to deny submitted claims. Recently submitted multiple claims for an ailment documented by my vet as unrelated to any previous condition. Petplan decided the ailment was a pre-condition and denied the claim. Asked the supervisor Don to kindly speak with my vet for a clearer explanation…obnoxiously declined. Found plan to be obstructive and self serving.

Looking at the grievances from Petplan customers it seems like a lot of us have experienced the exact same thing. Although I had a very good experience with Healthy Paws in the past, in this Covid economy I had to go with the cheapest rate when I was shopping around for an insurance for my new rescue dog so I chose Petplan. Their rate came out way cheaper than all the other companies.

I don’t even want to give 1 star! My letter was denied by the apartment complex and they won't refund me. I have emailed them several times and they are rude and then stopped responding. I have opened a claim with BBB and they have yet to respond. Don’t do it!

Is the worst insurance in the world.

I had a 100 deductible taken from my refunded money and an additional 50% was taken from my refund. The total for my bill was 223.00ish (don't have bill with me) l ended up with only 57.00

I really feel for the animals that have a true medical emergency while on the 14 day waiting period. This company will not budge nor make an exception and release funds for an emergency during this "mandatory" waiting period. They should really change this policy if they really cared about animals. The vet I spoke with was very helpful, but there was nothing she could do regarding my dog's emergency, because I'm still on a waiting period.

My dog has a lot of issues and we go to the vet often. So when I heard about Moosey’s wellness plan, I knew it would save me money. They’ve been solid so far with responsive customer service and a great price for what you get. It seems to be a new company, but everything has gone smooth so far and I’m looking forward to watching them grow as an early customer. I definitely recommend them, and will be a customer for a long time.

Fake reviews and a bad company. You can tell all the 5-star reviews are fake because they're all named "customer". The only genuine review with a real name is 1-star.

I believed that Waggy was a reputable company and they delivered what they promised: an ESA letter from an accredited therapist. I do have real conditions and previously diagnosed with ADA disabilities. I was not just trying to get an ESA letter to avoid paying fees. I got an ESA letter to confirm the validity of my dog and how much he means to me and helps me with my conditions and Waggy gave me an incredibly fast turnaround and prompt service without overcharging me and also tied me in with a therapist in the area. Thank you, Waggy!

Absolute worst pet insurance company I’ve ever had. They will do anything they can to get out of a claim. I even sent an estimate of the surgery and prior to the surgical date, never heard anything back so I assumed it would be covered. They will leave you holding the bag as they don’t want to pay anything. Do not trust these people at all. 100% worst insurance company out there for pets and total scam artists.
