Have an issue with your insurance?
Let everyone know!
Insurance companies are constantly reviewing us. Are we too old? Do we live in the wrong place? Is our credit score high enough? Well, now it's time to turn the tables. Do you charge too much? Will you pay my claim quickly? Is your coverage worse than it seems? We can review you too.
Waggy Pet - If you actually DO have a service or…
If you actually DO have a service or emotional support animal, you would not need this website at all.
Pawp - Not happy
The first Vet. That I talked to to find out if I should get my dog to the Vet. Was nice and show kindness. But the second I contact was trying to say that I didn't had a video call before taking my pet to the x-rays. And the last person that I contacted only showed concerned about money and she didn't gave me a clear information about how in case of an emergency surgery things will be handled.
Pumpkin - Don’t fall for the manipulative marketing!
Pumpkin Pet Insurance is nothing but a logo and a website. I insured two cats at a very high premium price ($176/month). I drank their marketing Kool-aid instead of going with a proven company. So that's my fault. I submitted claims at the beginning of November for one cat. I received nothing except the same auto-generated email for WEEKS. When I called over a month later, the customer service rep investigated and told me that my claims were being sent for "audit" on December 16th. I was told that the audit process would take between 30-45 days. Called again in January: "we're waiting on medical records" (which had already been emailed in November.) Because I had to provide medical records from birth for a 13-yr old pet, I reached out to my pet's previous vet and uploaded 65 pages of medical records. Then I was reprimanded by a customer service supervisor for doing so: "we reach out to the vets." Just a delaying tactic. Called again in February: "we have to review these records." It's March. 99% of the claims were denied because vomiting and constipation are "pre-existing." (What cat doesn't vomit? Those are symptoms, not a disease.) But should it BECOME a disease, like lymphoma - even 10 years from now - and even after their supposed 180-day "recovery" time, they won't cover it. I wasted $90 in premiums EACH MONTH waiting for the claims to be denied- and THEY COUNT ON THAT. They do have someone monitoring their social media who will respond to this and to them I say, "your customer service is DREADFUL. If you are delaying claims FOR FOUR MONTHS (in my case) and they are going to "review," YOUR CUSTOMER IS ENTITLED TO KNOW THAT. In a timely manner. And not by dragging it out of you." Pet owners: use another company.
Pawp - Pawp vets are more concerned with rules than pets
Pawp vets are much more concerned with making sure all the T's are crossed and all the I's are dotted than they are about saving a dejected, depleted, wounded little animal whose newly adoptive mom (cause she was dumped and animal control said they would just put puppy down) can't afford a new pup but is doing "make do" medicine which is desirable over a lethal injection in that oozy little infected, mangy front paw! But don't worry! Dr. Mom has been nursing babies back with home remedies and farm supplies for a long time. Gurlfren (LIKE COUNTRY FOLK!) WILL survive...and thrive!
Pawp - SCAM
I talked to Pawp, they told me to take my cat to the vet, said its a emergercy.Itook her in the time frame,I sent the invoice that told what I pay, and what they did at the vet. I pay the vet $800.00 almost 900.00 dollars because the phone number Haley at Pawp gave me to call, I called but could not get to talk to anyone,so I put it on my credit card, they wont reinbusted me. PAWP IS A SCAM,IT SOUNDED TO GOOD TO BE TRUE. AND MY BABY PASSED AWAY.
Get Odie - I am not happy with Odie
I am not happy with Odie. Anyone looking for pet insurance, please read Odie every word before purchasing
Get Odie - Very good
This is my first time with insurance - Odie has been very good - very helpful - sincere and caring about animals i would recommend 100% to anyone with pets -
Pawp - They told me when I called my dog was not going to die within 4 hours that he definitely needed treatment within 24 hours
The only good that this will do you is if your dog has 4 hours to live if he doesn't you're wasting your $19 a month. If your dog has 24 hours to live you're still out of luck don't throw your $19 away.
Prudent Pet - The lady on the phone was nice
The lady on the phone was nice! But I wish your hours of phone service was larger! I am in Hawaii and had to talk to the lady at 6am hahah
Pumpkin - Worst pet insurance ever!
If I could give no stars, I would! I have paid $141 a month and each time I submit a claim, they deny it claiming pre existing conditions my dog has not ever had! Even my vet did not understand what pre existing condition they were talking about, but they will literally not pay what they are responsible for. I canceled with them and I regret the money wasted, paying for a service they refuse to provide. SHE HAS NO PRE EXISTING CONDITIONS! Oh, and they encourage you to file an appeal, but what they don’t tell you is you will file an appeal and go months without hearing anything. This company is a scam and I am convinced the positive reviews are fake.
