The people are always very helpful when I call in with questions, however I am a little frustrated with the fact the price has doubled since I started with the program. I think you are way over priced for what is offered. I am currently looking for another more affordable carrier.

I got this insurance for hereditary issues. I use it for yearly care

They basically cover nothing. Will find a reason to deny every claim unless you fight for what you are entitled for. I wish I would have started with a different company. Also, their premium is outrageous.

As a veterinary professional, I will go with a different service once this year is up. We had a very expensive surgery for our dog that AKC Pet Insurance conveniently decided not to pay for. I should have stuck with Trupanion.

Expensive. What you get reimbursed for is confusing. Sometimes you get reimbursed sometimes you don’t. Even for things that state are covered under your plan.

Still using snail mail and wasting paper and stamps in addition to time.

Some of the items I was told are covered are not and not to mention my price went up 25% without notice. This is over priced insurance and the only reason I’m still with it is I hit my deductible .

I purchased the insurance due to the no waiting period on wellness NO WHERE did it state the effective date would be postponed. I would have saved a lot on his neuter and I was misled. I spoke with customer service and they offered nothing. I’m extremely disappointed I work at a pet friendly community and get asked daily about pet insurance and I will NEVER recommend this one to them. We will be canceling,

Poor speed of processing claims, obscure reasons for claim denial even though vet clearly describes condition.
