Embrace - Way too expensive
They were wonderful for a while. The price just got out of control. They raised it $103 a month without informing me. When I reached out they said they emailed me which I went back to check it and never got an email. The price was not worth the service they provided!! I went to another company after that
Embrace - This company is greedy, slow, trash
This company is happy to take your money but they make the claims process as difficult as possible. They kept delaying my claims because they kept asking me for records I already sent initially. They kept asking for the medical history for the first 12 months prior to my policy for my dogs. I sent them all of the records for the dogs from two different veterinarians early on. They told me that they had all the records they needed, but they continued to tell me they still need those records every time I tried to make a claim. They are very slow to communicate also. Terrible company overall. Go elsewhere for the care of your pets.
Embrace - I submitted a claim and I got emails…
I submitted a claim and I got emails saying they could not read the invoice I took a picture and sent it they said they could not read it . They contacted the clinic and clinic sent them the invoice again I got a second email saying they never got it .. I am very frustrated I sent the same invoice twice and so did the clinic .
I am really considering cancelling embrace .

Delay while they find a reason to deny . I cancelled one of my pets insurance already because he now has kidney decease completely new this year. 2 of the symptoms are vomiting and diarrra which they use as a pre existing condition. Completely outraged by this because lots of different conditions have diarrrah and vomiting.
Embrace - Absolutely THE worst
Absolutely THE worst. We have been loyal customers for over 9 years. I have paid over $6000 in premiums. Never missed a payment. Always on time. Even after our monthly payments have tripled, I stayed. I have gotten ONE claim back for $46. That is it. When I signed up in 2015, they had a program where your deductible decreased if you didn't have any claims. Mine was down to $100. They have now decided to just get rid of that. NO notice. No email. No letter. No common courtesy. Nothing. There was no compensation. No trade off benefit. Just a "oh well" from them. We stayed and paid the increased premiums because of this benefit and they stripped us of it for no reason and no notice. Absolutely horrible company.

MY OTHER DOG WHICH IS INSURED WITH ---HEALTHY PAWS--- (HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT ONE ) HAS HAD SO MANY ISSUES, NOT ONLY SHE HAS HAD SO MANY HEALTH PROBLEMS, BUT ALL THE INVOICES ARE COVERED NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Embrace - They don’t message back when you…
They don’t message back when you message in on the app with questions about how they handled the claim and breakdown. I have written to them at least twice inquiring about two different topics and have never received a message back
Embrace - Smooth filing experience, misleading EOB
The process of filing was fine. However, on the EOB, it says $xxx amount was covered by insurance. It proceeds to explain that this amount actually went to the deductible. Therefore, this amount was not "covered" by insurance, it simply went to the deductible and still came out of pocket. Very misleading. In general this is an issue with the insurance industry as a whole.
Embrace - Thumbs down
They were great a first but lately it’s been seeming like anything they can do to reimburse me less they have been doing. Some initial promises that were made to me have not been kept regarding reimbursement for flee, tick, and heartworm medication also. I am going to be looking at different companies for pet insurance.
