At this point I’m disappointed in Embrace. I’ve had the policy for 9 months and have not received a cent of repayment yet have paid monthly premiums. My account at ASLCA on a for
met pet was much easier to navigate and prompt in payment.

Shamefully increasing to the highest premium each year of my dog’s life. I’ve been with them for 12 yrs. They only care about money not the animals. They pay for what they say they do because they have to.
Embrace - Unable to select provider from webpage
Using 3 different windows 11 computers as well as 3 different web browsers was not able to select my provider because the field never responded. I was able to set and save the zipcode. Ran into same behavior with my samsung phone initially, while searching for answers from laptop the providers field on the phone became available after about 5 minutes, and I was finally able to submit the claim.
Embrace - Considering Switching
The response time for Embrace is great, but like any insurance company, they are always looking to tie claims to preexisting conditions which in some situation aren't the case. Just because one of multiple symptoms may be a preexisting condition, shouldn't make the entire claim tied to that one condition. For example my pup had a pancreatis attach which resulted in numerous tests, medications, and a hospital stay. Because he had diarrhea for a portion of the 5 days he was in and out of the hospital, the entire $4500 claim was denied. The nausea wasn't diarrhea related, the ultrasounds, xrays, food enticing medication, multiple pain relievers, all had absolutely nothing to do with diarrhea, yet the entire claim was denied with the rationale of preexisting diarrhea. This is frustrating and feels like railroading. I've actually considered switching insurance companies because of it.
Reply: I did reach out to fight the claim and to better understand why none of it was approved. I was told because he had diarrhea during the course of his stay the claim decision wouldn't change.
Embrace - No matter what I don't get approved
No matter what I submit for a claim, Embrace finds a reason not to pay out what they promise. I have invoices, documentation, EMAILS directly from the vet explaining what is diagnosed yet I still have nothing. I'm not happy and not renewing, it's a waste of money.

I called to cancel my plan and was subsequently hung up on when I told the representative that everything is a pre-existing condition according to their underwriters as that was my response to her telling me that any new insurance company I select will do the same thing.

Took the insurance for a test drive with my claim.
Not sure at this time, but:
-$48.50 x 12 = $582 per year without meds
-$877.46 Deductible
+$1033+ for the claims including meds not covered
$1,459.46 Total out by customer.
I could be off by change or dollar, but that's the picture I was looking at.
However, they were kind and courteous.
Embrace - I canceld my policy because of this.
I guess this leading statement in the comments box, "What went wrong this time?", explains their work. My dog is experiencing something to cause him to vomit and I've had numerous tests done on him to see what might be the cause. Because a vet visit 11 & 1/2 months ago mentioned vomiting, Embrace stated this is a preexisting condition. Vomiting? Really? Who has a dog who didn't. My case is extreme this time, but Embrace refused to reimburse me a dime on anything. They said he would be covered for vomiting in the future if he has no further case of it for 12 months. I guess I missed the window of opportunity by half a month.

For some reason my email is now not associated with an account after I paid 469$ for an annual membership. Now have to go through the hassle of figuring out how to fix it so i can even put in a claim.
