Embrace - Embrace insurance is very deceiving on…
Embrace insurance is very deceiving on how they do their claims. They nit pick all the fees picking only the low fees like a cone for an emergency visit but not the actually emergency exam and medicine. I feel this is a rip off for all customers. Also the claims adjusters are not good trying to have customer do their job and me having to spoon feed them on how to communicate and read their own email. Do not recommend this company for anyone.
Embrace Insurance - Save time and money avoid Embrace insurance
After 3 phone ,RESENDING MY CLAIM TWICE AND APPX TWO MONTH LATER THEY HAVE NOT PAID OUT MY CLAIM'. After less then enrolling a year since enrolling my 2 year old dog they raised my rate. when she turned 3, I never had so much issues when dealing with another company.
Embrace - Embrace premium 3x incease
Just got an increase from $385/month to $1137/month for accident and illness for my 2 dogs (about 14 yrs old in CA, USA). I've had Embrace for 10 yrs and this is absolutely insane. Should I change companies? Now that they're older, they'll have some preexisting conditions if I do new evaluations with a new provider. But I definitely can't afford this!
Embrace - State Based Premium Increases
I have recently had a 117% premium increase from Embrace. One of their justifications was the state I lived in, CA. I’m curious what other states have had such egregious increases ( regardless of company).
Embrace Pet Insurance - Embrace - SCAMMERS
I have been paying for Embrace Pet Insurance for nearly a year. I submitted a claim recently and apparently I was supposed to get my dogs an exam BEFORE the policy began. The dogs had an exam 16 days after the policy began. Now they are refusing to pay claims despite the fact that they happily took my money for the last year.
These people are scammers. Beware!
Embrace - Pet insurance that actually covers hereditary conditions?
I just dropped Embrace pet insurance. My dog has a soft palate and breathing problems which are hereditary. The woman on the phone said they do cover hereditary conditions as long as it wasn't something that was detected before the policy began or after the waiting period, because then it gets listed as a pre-existing condition, which no pet insurance covers. I'm so confused. If the condition is hereditary then of course it was detected early on. I've literally spent 10k on vet bills for my dog (who's only 10 months old) and I've never been reimbursed fot a single thing because everything she went in for is considering "pre-existing", whether its seizures, bladder issues, bowel obstruction, or anything related to breathing. She gets aspiration pneumonia like every 2 months because she throws up and then it goes back into her lungs and then I have to pay for x-rays and give her antibiotics. The waiting period for it to not be considered pre-existing is 180 days. That's just not possible in her case. Literally the only way I'd ever be reimbursed for anything is if she broke a leg or something. Is there any pet insurance that will cover hereditary health issues without listing them as pre-existing? Do I just go to a different vet and not give her insurance info from her previous vet or what? Her vet bills are becoming unaffordable at this point. Just at a loss of what to do. Anyone who can give me advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Embrace - Potential cancer diagnosis with Embrace
My almost 6 year old German Shepherd most likely has bone cancer. I’m very impressed by how Embrace has covered us following an almost $6,000 two night emergency vet visit. We have follow up appointments scheduled to get clear answers and treatment options and I was thinking I was grateful that our policy renews in December because I’m almost at my yearly max already. But a coworker pointed out that it’s very possible they might drop us when it’s time to renew our policy. Has anyone experienced this with Embrace?? I’d like to be mentally prepared if I’m going to have to go out of pocket starting in December.

Embrace - Quality of Embrace?
Hi guys,
I used to have Healthy Paws for my cat but wasn’t happy with the service or price, so I switched to Embrace about 3-4 years ago. My cat is now 5 and her current coverage is: $5K annual limit, $1K deductible, and 80% reimbursement.
Recently, they denied a claim for a mass removal on her nose, citing a 2022 note about a mass on her thigh—which my vet believed was just a mild reaction to a vaccine that was administered the week prior reaction that resolved on its own (EXACT same location as the vaccine). I’ve submitted a request to review the claim and re-evaluate that pre-existing condition. This is the first time I've had to disagree with their assesment of the bill, and not sure how that will go. But now knowing that they won't cover any masses (including cancer) because of this makes me anxious.
This made me reconsider Embrace, what pet insurance do you all use, what’s your coverage like, and how much do you pay monthly? Any recommendations for an insurance that would cover future masses (including cancer) even though she had a "mass" in 2022 that was most likely just a reaction to a vaccine lol.
Embrace - Embrace almost doubling premium
My monthly premium with Embrace was $54 a month and I just got a notice it will be $93 a month. This is an obscene increase. My pet is an almost 8 year old male cat I have had since he was 2. He has been in great health with no issues. I’ve had embrace since I got him.
Should I get new pet insurance? I’ve seen really mixed reviews about embrace being a scam. There is absolutely no justification for this premium increase in my opinion, but I’d like it get other thoughts.
Embrace - My Embrace monthly fee increased by 88%
I've had Embrace pet insurance for the past 5 years, and this month when my policy renewed it increased by 88.5%. I reached out to them to get an explanation, and was basically told its because of the rising cost in vet fees, and "updated data" about my dogs breed, age, health trends, etc. I have filed a handful of claims for her over the years, but she has no major health concerns or chronic conditions. Every year in the past my monthly rate has gone up, but it has always been within reason. Has anyone else experienced something like this with Embrace or another company? I am going to switch providers since they are now no longer affordable, so would appreciate any suggestions for other companies.
