Embrace - Policy coverage is misleading…
The policy isn’t very clear with regard to coverage. The policy indicated most things were covered up to 90% but that is not the case. Apparently we need the Wellness Rewards program for better coverage but that wasn’t communicated anywhere. Our pets already have a wellness plan. Unfortunately we only got back about half of the expenses incurred during the emergency visit.
We will likely not renew in February.
Embrace - Marty’s insurance premium went up to…
Marty’s insurance premium went up to $775.??, we have been with you for three years, that was a $250.00 increase, the year before went up same amount. So I decreased coverage amount. This is thru USAA At 5% off and I paid the $30.00 admin fee the first year. I contacted two other pet insurance carriers for same coverage I have now for $525.00 for a years premium. Will not go with Embrace again.
Embrace - Took many months to even get a payment…
Took many months to even get a payment then was told because my vet said my dog had a little tarter on his teeth you won’t cover teeth cleaning.
Embrace - Embrace lacks user ease
Never easy to fill out claim. Takes a very long time. Have not been reimbursed for any medical cost as of yet. Disappointed with this pet insurance.
Embrace - Horrible company
Unfortunately, this is your typical insurance company where they take your money and when you need to file a claim they'll do whatever possible to deny your claim. Then after denying your claim they'll raise your premiums really high. Horrible company and will never recommend or do business with them again!
Embrace - If I could give this a zero star…
If I could give this a zero star review, I would. Have been with Embrace for @ 12 years and never have I had an issue with them. I was told, (not documented by Embrace) that my renewal premium would be @ $985. What to my surprise and wondering eyes did I see but a charge to my credit card of $1449.00! I never received their renewal quote, nor was the renewal premium what I was told. But they have you over a barrel since my pup has a pre-exisiting condition which would not be covered by other plans. So I either don't have him treated for a year and let him suffer (would never do that) or pay all the expenses out of pocket OR renew with Embrace which I was forced to do.

The problem with this company is they wait until you file a claim to tell you what they will and will not cover. Some of the things they will not cover, based on their initial review, are things you would never expect them not to cover. They said they would pay less than 25% of my first filed claim. I say it that way because they have claimed they initiated a payment. I have not received a payment. I have also not received a response to my inquiry about the payment, and this was almost two weeks ago. Like most insurance companies, this one will find ways to avoid payment after months of collecting money from the working class. The whole point of this plan was to HELP. It has cost me more money than if I had just paid my bill out of pocket. Stay away,
Embrace - This company doubled my premiums from…
This company doubled my premiums from $90/mo to $190 for my two YOUNG healthy dogs in one year. I have never submitted a claim. One dog is NOW 3.... was just 2 when the premium was doubled, and the other is 5. They are Tibetan Spaniels who are not prone to health problems. No actuary table would show this as a legitimate cost increase, and I got better coverage for $91/mo elsewhere.

Embrace - Claim denied by trying to change the vets diagnosis
My claim was denied based on your diagnosis not the vets diagnosis. I callled you on it and you said you paid a partial claim, which I have not received but did not reply to my request for the full refund.
