I had an Avant loan that was sent to collections a few years back. I've since paid it off in full but my Avant account still shows an "Active Charge Off" status of that loan, which prevents me from applying for a new loan. I'd like to know how I can have these old loan details wiped from my account for possible future loans? I tried calling support but couldn't get through to anyone.
