Premium went up about 25% without notice. The "added benefits" were not worth that mandatory hike. I am not sure this insurance is a good value. I have been on it for 15 months and my dog has had two surgeries, and I am breaking even at best. I hope in the future my dog doesn't average two surgeries a year, which means there is no way I break even with this insurance.

Zero rating. Puppy went in for spay which should be covered, no 14 day waiting period explained at all. Illness found, because less than 14 days , illness will not be covered. Insurance had bee dropped and have recommended to others not to purchase

I got pet insurance with petplan and was with them under a year. When it came to processing the claim, despite their automatic email reply saying they will get back to you in 10 days.

Every time I have to submit a claim, I have to print, fill out, and then scan/photo and submit a form that has 99% of the duplicate information on it. I understand having to submit a photo of the invoice, but why do I have to fill out that paper form every time? The invoice has all of the new info on it, and everything else should be in your records. It also makes no sense that you don't have an online claim submission form that I can just attach a photo of the invoice to. It would be less work for you and for me.

I have used them for years for multiple pets. They used to be great. Paid promptly. Covered issues without delay. Now I wait long and coverage not as good. I’ll be considering another insiresnce company for my future pets.

Voor het eerst een claim ingediend. Ontvang een zeer onpersoonlijk antwoord dat ook nog eens niet klopt. I.p.v. de 3 opgegeven items waren maar 2 items meegenomen in de berekening. Hierdoor kwam het bedrag onder het eigen risico van 100 euro. Weer gemaild, gevraagd naar een vriendelijker antwoord dat wel klopt. Ontvang vervolgens wederom een zeer onpersoonlijke reactie waaruit blijkt dat ze doodleuk weer niet de moeite hebben genomen om mijn claim goed te lezen. Ze nemen nu wel ineens de moeite om mij allerlei bewijzen te vragen die er niet eens toe doen. Ik geef ze nog een kans, maar ook deze wordt niet aangenomen. Voor die paar rottige tientjes stop ik er verder geen negatieve energie meer in. Die stop ik liever in mijn ervaringen delen met andere. Meteen de verzekering stopgezet. Vervolgens krijg ik wel een reactie van ze op mijn bericht op hun Facebook pagina, te laat!
