Have an issue with your insurance?
Let everyone know!
Insurance companies are constantly reviewing us. Are we too old? Do we live in the wrong place? Is our credit score high enough? Well, now it's time to turn the tables. Do you charge too much? Will you pay my claim quickly? Is your coverage worse than it seems? We can review you too.
Pawp - Steep decline in customer service in less than a year
When I first used Pawp last December 2021, they were amazing! Absolutely fantastic service, I felt cared for, and their staff went above and beyond to help take care of me during a time of crisis. In less than year, they have gone downhill horribly! You can't talk to anyone over the phone anymore, they don't even have live people over the webchat. Only contact info is one email address. When I submitted my claim via their online intake form, I never received any response. After multiple attempts, when I finally got in touch with someone via email, my claim was denied due to a fixable oversight. They claimed they sent me an email notifying me, but I never received one. And now it was "too late" for a claim to be accepted. The "support staff" I interacted with said they had no control over it since it was the claims processing team that dealt with claims and there was nothing they could do. What's the point of support staff if they can't even liaise on our behalf?! Their customer service went from 110% to "not our problem" in less than a year. Horribly, horribly disappointed. Also, when you try to cancel they ask for your reason, but then only allow you to answer with one of like 6 pre-made answers. None of which are "your customer service sucks." They aren't actually trying to fix their issues, just mask them.
Pumpkin - Does not hold up their obligations to customers
Terrible service, inefficient and dysfunctional website, fails to resolve issues and constantly promises claims are being processed. They're either frauds or fools. Stay away from Pumpkin Pet Insurance.
Prudent Pet - Paid $600 got $100 as a rebate
Paid $600 got $100 as a rebate. Signed up for direct deposit and got a mail check. Looking for another insurance company. It’s too expensive not to reimburse you for what you’ve paid. It’s a ripoff
Bivvy - Never used it

Pawp - Subjective and stingy, so much better to get cheap insurance
The whole process is so incredibly subjective and they will do ANYTHING not to pay. It would be much more beneficial for owners to deposit $25 a month into a separate bank account as a pet emergency fund. I know people say that about pet insurance all of the time, but Pawp, being as limiting as they are, is ABSOLUTELY not worth $25 a month.
Pawp - They my are the worse!
They my are the worse! Put in for an emergent request and was denied. Was told I didn’t have a video interview. I had a chat interview with one of their doctors. What is the difference? My dog couldn’t wait for a video interview he was diabetic ketoacidotic, liver enzymes were high as well as his pancreatic enzymes. Had diagnosis of pancreatitis. He crossed over 2 days after admission to the animal hospital. So tell me how this isn’t an emergency?!!! They take your money but done want to pay. Big joke! I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. They’re horrible!
Bivvy - I am getting too many emails since I've…
I am getting too many emails since I've signed up. That's not cool.
Pumpkin - Very disappointed.
I have a claim with the company for over a month first they told me it was denied. Then when I called them they realized the denial was in error. The claim is for over 5000.00 dollars and they are still jerking me around every time I call they say the check will be released in 10 days this was 25 days ago. Customer service is awful. I am switching companies.
It's Covered - Corporate Convolutions
While the insurance may be with a reasonably stable company, tracking down who actually has the policy was quite interesting. No less than three companies were involved in the transaction (there may be more). I just hope I don't have a claim. I can see where it would be a nightmare trying to collect on a claim working through the maze of corporate entanglement for a simple damage claim.
ManyPets - A standard procedure on my French…
A standard procedure on my French Bulldog denied. Terrible terrible company don’t do business with them
