Go Pet Plan - Outrageous premium increases
I find as my dog is getting older they have consistently increased my rates 30% every year. They also hike rates more when the portfolio changes hands. I think they have been bought and sold at least 3 times since I have been a client.
ManyPets - MANYPETS IS THE MOST DISHONEST INSURANCE COMPANY I’VE EVER DEALT WITH!!
This company not only told me that I could add on to my insurance later and then reneged. They told me they no longer had the wellness plan and that it was replaced by a new more expensive plan. That I could only add on now if I did it when I first signed up, totally contradicting what they originally offered. Then when I tried to cancel my policy because I went with a much better more honest insurance company. They wouldn’t refund my money for that month even though I tried to get through to them before the billing date. They delayed my email by giving me some garbage about a security check so they could still charge me. I have never dealt with a more dishonest, conniving company as ManyPets. There are much better companies out there that are much more accommodating and personable with much better insurance for less. I would suggest to anyone reading this to look at Pets Best or ANY other insurance company other then ManyPets.
ManyPets - This company is a joke and they are…
This company is a joke and they are after the money not for the benefit of the your pet . Save your money and give your pet a better insurance
ManyPets - Not helpful or useful
Called in to see if a procedure my dog was going to get was covered. I was advised that yes, everything except a biopsy would be covered. After I got the procedure done on my dog, they denied the claim. I then canceled the policy due to not covering my dogs needs and not using it. I was advised that I would not be receiving a refund because I didn't cancel within 30 days of the policy. Very frustrated and disappointed in a 4.5 rating company.
Pumpkin - Beware of false advertising
I was extremely happy with Pumpkin, they were very responsive and the claims had a really quick turnaround time. They had the most overall coverage of all the plans I researched. All great...UNTIL I was not reimbursed for something they had clearly stated as covered on their website (see screenshot, BEWARE they DO NOT cover CBC at an annual exam). Totally false advertising, especially for something VERY expensive. Don't care how good your insurance is, if you lie...I'm OUT!
Pawp - Don’t waste your money unless you will contact them before seen for an emergency.
I was written today that during our emergency of my dog getting stung, eye swole shut and having breathing issues because of shock, I had to contact pawp during this emergency for the insurance to apply. It is crazy to expect this to be done as the dog is squeezed in for emergency (no plannned visit). Not sure how they can expect someone to do that.
Pawp - Check out their "F" rating on BBB
We purchased coverage for our pets because they did not require upfront payment. Then, some time later, they changed their policies to require payment of the vet bills upfront and the "apply" for a refund. The change in terms was NOT agreed to be me, but rather FORCED on me. I have cancelled my policy and recommend that everyone steer clear of these crooks. Check out their BBB page... they have an "F" rating.
ManyPets - Disappointed in North Carolina
I asked for legal information by a certain date. Not only did I miss my deadline, you NEVER got back to me. Lack of communication is a worry some sign.
ManyPets - Cost not confirmed anywhere. …
When do I get an email confirming that the cost is $75.97 a month.
Pawp - Just very disappointed.
We were over 900 miles away when our 10 year old dog escaped and was gone 3 days before returning home injured. Our adult children took him to the vet immediately, and we were not able to contact PAWP until later. To be honest I had just gotten used to paying every month and being lucky enough not to have to use the service, that I didn't think about calling them right away. So that was our first strike. Then they said they would consider our claim outside of the breach of rule-following, and immediately found another loophole. Though our vet had given us 9 pages of files that encompassed not only this incident in detail, but services rendered for our dog's whole life, this was not enough for them. I then sent them a photo of just ONE of our dog's injuries, a wound on his leg where it was cut completely to the bone, and bone and ligaments were showing. Nope. They also knew that he had to have xrays, and that his elbow was completely dis-jointed, which meant he was in a splint for well over a week. Still saying that they needed more info from the vet. I told them I could not fabricate what wasn't there, and finally I just told them to cancel. I have paid every month without fail since I've had the subscription - probably at least 2 years, not sure, but when I needed them, all they did was look for loopholes.
