If you’re considering Pets Best Insurance, save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. They have made every excuse imaginable to avoid paying a single claim, twisting the vet’s words and inventing loopholes to deny coverage. Even with clear documentation from my veterinarian, they somehow found a way to reinterpret or outright dismiss it. It felt like they were more focused on protecting their profits than providing the coverage they advertise. Every claim turned into a drawn-out battle, only to be met with another denial and zero accountability. This is not pet insurance—it’s an expensive illusion. I paid my premiums on time and trusted them to have my pet’s back, but all I got was stress and wasted time. If you value your money and your peace of mind, do yourself a favor and steer clear of Pets Best. They’re the worst.

Embrace seems like a great insurance on the surface, but when you actually go through the claims process, they try and try hard to throw as many excuses, i.e. medical records b.s., to not pay out claims. This has been a disaster of experience dealing with this Embrace Pet Insurance. They have finally paid out some claims but not all that they are suppose to, and every single claim has been like wrestling a gorilla. In addition they raised my monthly premium 100% over the first year and only year I have been with them. I do not recommend this insurance to anyone.

Had them for a couple months and 1st Claim Petsbest paid $0 Time to cancel them !

Coverage went from 82.80 to 106.50… my cat just turned 1 year old, never used the coverage, called and they simply don’t care I am looking elsewhere… on pension, no way to afford these ( there will be more) increases terrible customer service!! Terrible insurance Co. Btw I had to give it 1 star… should’ve been 0

Embrace, like all pet insurance, is a racket. Although I had no accident or illness claims, my year over year premium increase was over 100%. I have canceled my policy. Their customer service was always friendly, but rarely competent; unfortunately my experience of claims, underwriting and sales tactics fall into the lowest decile of all insurance companies I have dealt with. Pet insurance as an industry has grown in size by leaps and bounds. The industry needs the attention of a large number of States' Insurance Commissioners to review current practices. Overall, Embrace was expensive and difficult to extract concrete answers from.

They make you jump through so many hoops for approval. Asked for 2 major reports and i provided them. Now they’re asking for more which is deceiving. They’re trying to deny me. Do better!

My fur baby was born with a congenital condition, however, he passed the orthotic exam and didn’t have any debilitating symptoms until 5 mos after the exam. Met the spend down requirements but they said they wouldn’t cover Tuckers condition since it was pre existing. The whole purpose of health insurance is just this…. Tucker was a year old plus 8 mos. His condition should have been covered. Period. Whether it’s congenital or not his symptoms showed in the latter part of his existence. These guys suck. Done. Waste of money.

Submitting a claim is easy. However they don't reimburse as described. Be sure to read the fine print. Buyer beware
