It’s just like health insurance for humans. Pay into it and get everything denied. Waste of money
Embrace - Bait and switch
First policy renewal and the premium doubled!! No claims at time of renewal. Bait and switch tactic which will now cause issues when I change back to our previous insurance since they will be new pets instead of having a history on the policy. And because I had a claim (just after the policy renewal) now that will be a preexisting condition on any new policy and won’t be covered in future.
Really got screwed over with long lasting repercussions.
Embrace - Expensive Policy Covered Nothing Entire Year
Policy cost almost twice the one I had previously with another company and didn’t cover any wellness issues. I was expected to pay yet more per month to have wellness issues covered (was already paying over $100/mo). I’m sorry but for the price paid and $0 coverage for anything I had done to take care of my dog was just way too much and not a justifiable expense. Sad. I’d rather put that money in a savings account and use it accordingly which seems to make more financial and logical sense.
Embrace - Worst pet insurance experience ever
Worst pet insurance experience ever. I submitted two claims over the summer that were never reimbursed. They claimed I needed to meet my deductible and spend an additional $38, which I did, but they only reimbursed me $12. I previously had Lemonade Pet Insurance, which was outstanding, but Embrace has been a nightmare for nearly a year. I would never recommend them to anyone—it's been a total scam
Embrace - SCAM! They changed waiting period.
Embraced arbitrarily changed the waiting period from 14 days to 30 days to avoid paying claims.
What a SCAM!
Reply to Embrace: My pet had a checkup with good health 55 days prior to the visit that Embraced denied. There is no pre-existing condition.

Embrace - I submitted my claim over a month ago
I submitted my claim o er a month ago. You emailed me that you would get my pet's SOAP from my pet's primary care vet. For unknown reason that failed. My claim was placed on hold. I then got the SOAP and uploaded and emailed it to you within 10 minutes.
Two Weeks later myclaim is still shown as on hold.
Please process my claim.

i’m super bummed. What a scam. Call sales. They answer in 12 seconds. Calll customer support- an hour wait. Don’t do it.
Pets Best - I signed up for a wellness plan
I signed up for a wellness plan, so I don't know why ALL yearly vaccines aren't covered.
Pets Best - Horrible
I do not recommend Pets Best Insurance. We just canceled our policy and will be looking elsewhere. We were with them since 2021 for one of our dogs. Early on, we thought they were ok. Disappointed with some claims not being reimbursed but other claims we received some reimbursement. This past 12 - 18 months has been horrible working with them. We received no reimbursement on any of our claims with the exception of one in May 2024. But then, they requested in June or July that we provide them all vet records for our pet (that has been covered since 2021) which they would already have access to. Seemed like a stall tactic to avoid reimbursement. We paid $80 per month to cover this pet (we also had a 2nd pet covered), have paid out close to $3,000 in vet bills with no reimbursement. If I could give a rating of "0", I would have but this was not an option.

If I could give negative stars I would. I had numerous calls with my salesperson, with assurances that every service I anticipated would be covered. He sent me cute pics of his adopted pup blah blah.
We submitted at least 20 claims every one of them was denied. Vaccines, spaying, routine check ups. I reached out to him by email and calls and never got a reply.
I made a separate call to cancel the policy and just discovered it was never canceled!!!!
CRIMINALS.
