Fetch - I feel like the max amounts that are…
I feel like the max amounts that are covered for things like dentals and spays are extremely low, especially for a policy that’s $38 a month.
Embrace - Now that I moved to another state I'm…
Now that I moved to another state I'm having issues with submitting claims. SPCA Medical Center requires a deposit to schedule an appointment and Embrace is not understanding how that works with two receipts and now is putting claims on hold. Unable to get a Rep to get to the bottom of why they can.t ubderstand the two receipts.
Fetch - Essential
Easy to use, best coverage!!
Pets Best - First time claim, somewhat disappointed
Rate was increased prior to my first claim. Made first claim Feb 2025, Many exclusions, a lot of charges going towards deductibles.
Embrace - Even though I provided all the…
Even though I provided all the information, they kept asking for similar details, and it still took almost three months.
Embrace - Complete scam
Complete scam . Had the insurance for over a year . Never went over my deductible. As soon as I got close to the deductible they raised my monthly rate by 75$! Almost doubled it
Embrace - Generally happy with this insurance
Generally happy with this insurance.
However they offer a dental allowance of $1000. Nowhere does it say that the deductible has to be met before being reimbursed for dental. It appears as a separate allowance on the policy.
Had my dogs dental done last month expecting to be reimbursed the 1000 only to be told that the deductible had to be met first. The deductible is as much as the procedure. So what is the point of offering dental? If you have an otherwise healthy pet and don’t meet the deductible you won’t get the dental allowance. Very misleading and frustrating 😡
Nationwide - This may change after the service starts
This may change after the service actually starts. I understand the insurance industry has rocketed in price, but I was still a little shocked at the monthly price, and thus, did not add my dog. Just accidental and routine care would have been over $100 for my young dog who has no pre-existing conditions. I pay $20 a month for my 8yr-old daughter…
If the claims are honored as listed, do not take 2 months to process (like past pet insurance), and service is great, my score may go up.
Embrace - Embrace Pet Insurance: A Year of Premiums, Zero Coverage, and Dishonest practices.
"After a year of faithfully paying premiums to Embrace Pet Insurance, I'm utterly disappointed and feel completely misled. My experience with their claims department has been nothing short of a nightmare.
In January, my cat sprained her paw, and I took her to the vet for an examination and diagnosis. I submitted my first claim, expecting a straightforward reimbursement, especially since the vet bill was less than my deductible. Instead, I've been met with a frustrating runaround.
Embrace is now demanding 'notes' from my cat's pre-existing veterinary records, despite having already received and approved those records when I initially signed up. They claimed all information was complete and issued my policy. Now, when I need them most, they're suddenly claiming they need more information. This feels like a blatant attempt to avoid paying a legitimate claim.
The fact that they requested and received the full veterinary history prior to issuing the policy, and then demanded additional "notes" after a claim was submitted, shows a lack of integrity. This is not how an honest company operates.
After a year of paying premiums and dealing with this frustrating experience, I've cancelled my policy with Embrace. I cannot recommend this company to anyone who values their pet's health or their peace of mind. They are not an honest company, and their claims process is designed to frustrate and deny legitimate claims. Avoid Embrace Pet Insurance at all costs."
Spot - Don't waste your money
Don't waste your money. I got the highest amount of coverage possible supposed to get 90% reimbursement but on a bill for $150 I got $10. back and 2 out of 4 claims have been denied one for $364 saying not eligible for reimbursement. They will find a reason to deny your claim every time. so don't waste your money
