Very deceptive in its practices when you sign up

Electronic application, paper mail response, no way to contact email or otherwise.

Nothing they did was illegal. Just heartless. This is a company that only cares about making money. I was with them for 17 years. They have changed ownership and names a few times. The coverage went down and the rates kept going up.

Wow! On top of already exorbitant rates, I just got notice they will be raising my pets' policies by OVER DOUBLE! I have had them for years (since PetPlan), with just a few minor claims which didn't pay out much. This is absolutely ridiculous - paying more for my cats' insurance than my husband's and mine combined. Sad to think I've kept them so long. Guess I will go the route of many others and just set up a savings account for my fur-babies - wish I had done that 5 years ago. Would definitely NOT recommend.

If you go back to edit anything or even to take a second look the information you have entered is not saved. Frustrating

Came up on a uk comparison site but have tried to navigate to their site 3 times for more details and fails every time with blank screens. Not much use. No issues on same day and same device with other insurers.

It's a shame I can only get one annual checkup reimbursement for my adopted dog. I'm still paying some for that checkup.

What’s happened to Petplan?

One of the worst experiences…. We had them for over 2 years. Every time we tried to put anything in we could never get someone to talk with. Paid $60 per month. Nothing big with surgeries or anything but not once did the cover anything. No problem we got burned.
