Trupanion is a good pet insurance for peace of mind and emergencies. However, they still need to work on coverage. I find it disappointing that exams arnt covered, taxes, and wellness procedures arnt covered. I would think they would want to promote prevention.

Claims processing has slowed way down. It shouldn’t take weeks on end to process a claim, especially when it was for a sick visit.

Just received a 208% monthly premium for our 2 dogs. Went from $193.37 in May to $597.35 in June for our 6 yr old golden/boxer mix and 10 yr boxer. No health changes for either one. Both had been covered with healthy paws for over 5 years.

Kinda silly how you need to select the "wellness rewards" the completely optional benefit just to get covered for a vaccine. If I'm paying for insurance I should automatically have that as a feature in my policy. There should be no "optional reward" for a vaccine exam. That's like saying "if you tip us we'll give you something that you should've got in the first place"

Started out great and then every year the increases have been 25%-40% - it's outrageous!

Pretty slow

My claims have been repeatedly denied because lack of "SOAP notes". My vet has provided all the information they have and so I'm basically unable to use this service.

I felt the time it took to review and approve a simple claim was excessive.

Not impressed as why the majority of my baby’s immunizations weren’t covered when these are needed to keep him healthy. Your company was on my AFGE referral site. Presently researching other companies.

Didn't accept me right away, never had that happen. Not interested in them for insurance now.
