The policy changed hands to another company and is terrible now. The total monthly premium costs the same amount as the deductible. And there is a very low limit for coverage annually. I’d be paying out $1400 annually for a $2500 limit of coverage. It honestly makes more sense to just put the money in a savings account every month.

I've used Embrace for seven years and have no complaints about the coverage or reimbursement process, but for the second year in a row the premium for one of my dogs has spiked significantly.

The company was great initially about two years ago. Now, they are horrible. You can't speak to anyone by phone. Claim times are ridicluously long. The last one was seven weeks, but only closed when I emailed them. Even the email response was delayed.

This is directly tied to the fact that I now have hit his lifetime deductible for his skin issues and now you actually have to start paying something towards his care so you're balancing that by jacking up the rate. The SOAP notes have been holding me up. The vet office doesnt typically share these so I have to make several additional attempts to gather everything needed to get a claim paid. I wish there was a direct line from the vet to the ins so I didnt have to ask for this each time.

I get the Pet Insurance so that I can be able to go and do the things that I need to do for my animal so I can afford it. Just to find out that I have to go and pay for a physical examination first before you’ll even consider ensuring them, which is also covered by the Insurance no I didn’t end up going with a plan.
