Be prepared for significant increases year over year on premiums, and to fight, tooth and nail for reimbursement and processing of claims.
Pets Best - Horrible Experience
This process was not at all how it has been in the past. It took 18 days for the claim to process and when it was processed I got way less back than I had anticipated. I’m really not happy about the coverage and I am actively looking for different insurance options that will actually be straight forward about their process and apparently the limit they put on a claim.
Nationwide - Obscene amount of questions and zero…
Obscene amount of questions and zero knowledge about birds and why they go to the vet…and application STILL pending.
MetLife - My insurance rate went up when I asked…
My insurance rate went up when I asked if it could be lowered and I was told that it could be lowered by $10 because I volunteered at the Humane Society however then I was told that the $500 extra that I got this year because of not using all of my insurance last year would be taken away. So I wasn’t able to get the $10 discount for volunteering.

Shame you can’t adjust your annual. Only way you can is canceling and rewriting a new policy, but then anything during the past is considered pre-existing.
Spot - Scam
Scam! They tell you they reimburse a certain way, but when you file a claim, they don't cover anything you are paying premiums for. I pay for a 90% policy, but that is not how they processed our claims. High premiums compared to reimbursement.
We are looking into new insurance. I would never recommend this company.

you've asked me twice for my puppys medical history. I've provided it and you keep asking for records back to 1-1-25. He was born 1-31-2025 and i bought him when he was almost 5 months old. Right after that i took him for shots etc. That is his history

Coverage was horrible for the price paid. The prorated premium was not returned. Hey, Embrace, what will you guys be using my unused premiums for? Hope you have fun at your employee party! You guys are thieves!!
Trupanion - Your IT issues have became unbearable…
Your IT issues have became unbearable to me as the consumer
The app used to be great now it doesn’t work.
I have to send my claims now like the 1990s.
I am very disappointed that you allowed your IT to fail and makes me question the company.
