They say a test of insurer is when you make a claim. Fetch hace got an absolutely horrible claims experience. Chasing information and documents that you’ve already sent them and asking you to repeat info over and over again. When they finally got to the claim, the cover was so poor (even though it’s expeinsive) that they said I had nothing due back to me. What actually is the point of their insurance. Paying for nothing is a complete fraud. Don’t touch them.

MetLife - Worst insurance ever!
By far one of the worst pet insurance ever. Filed a claim and they have been denying it trying to make it seem something else. No matter what they don’t want to reimburse money!! They have uneducated people who know nothing about medical denying everything. Getting a lawyer
Embrace - Website technical difficulties
When submitting a claim the website is always very difficult to use and trying to select a provider or date takes multiple attempts, extremely frustrating.

Weird to ask for a review before you have even processed the claim. I'll write a better one (maybe) if it is paid!
Embrace - Claim processing and payment is terrible!
I have been waiting six months for my claims to be processed and paid out. My cat had to see a dermatologist back in March. It is now September! They have everything they need to process these claims but still nothing has been paid!

UPDATE: The insurance got back to me and is making things as seamless as they can during this loss I appreciate their cooperation I do think they need to work on phone responses but over all I value their empathy and compassion during these situations. Thank you embrace.
OLD : zI never get any responses I have called multiple times in the past few weeks about some of my dogs claims and have received no emails or contact. This past weekend I had to finally say goodbye to my baby as he was simply old and ready to not be in pain anymore but this insurance company has not made it any easier, I wish they would answer the phone even when I call right at opening time.
Trupanion - Communication breakdown
I submitted an invoice for my oldest dog back in August I received a confirmation email assuring me that Trupanion was “ on it;”
A month later I submitted an inquiry via email regarding the claim status. The
Em response directed me to phone the company. I did so and spoke with a representative who informed me that Trupanion had no record of the claim and that I would have to resubmit it. I did so and I’m now waiting for payment regarding this claim. my concern is, that had a nut checked, no action would’ve been taken regarding the claim, despite the fact that it was supposedly received, and in process. initially, submitting claims to Trupanion, a company I have been with for many years, were simple and seamless.
The premiums have continually increased, and as I have more than one dog with a policy, my monthly rate is fairly expensive. I would like to continue doing business with Trupanion, but I am concerned regarding this latest issue .
Spot - Consider an Alternative
Rates have gone up twice in less than two years, and the coverage is abysmal. $50 coverage for a $130 checkup?? I've been paying $80 a month for almost two years now and am seriously considering switching.

I provide everything required, then a new information is requested. I already submitted his paperwork prior to filing any claims.
