Love trupanion. Always helps me with my dogs vet bills with no problems at all

They seek to deny every claim based on pre-existing conditions. I have been with Lemonade for over 2 years and they request full medical history records for every claim. Decisions are delayed for weeks. Switching to Lemonade was a huge mistake. If you haven’t switch yet to Lemonade, DON’T DO IT!

I’m totally shocked whenever I file a claim. SPOT covers more than what I would have ever imagined. I’m impressed with their service and their quality! In my opinion, Spot is great coverage for any pet!

It takes forever to get paid back for vet visits. This year my dog was diagnosed with cancer. An he has have to have had surgery 3 times so his vet bills so far have totaled almost 25k. To no shock his policy is to renew on November 11th 2025 an to no surprise his policy has gone up over 150.00 so I went from paying 240.00 to 350.00 a month. When I asked why the increase was told due to the vets have increased so they need to as well. Funny part is my kids also have MetLife pet insurance an their insurance has not gone up.

I have been waiting for payment for my cat's surgery. I have received communication from the company stating theinformation has bee submitted for approval since 09/25/2025. All information was sent. They have my phone number, email address and still no other contac5.

Healthy Paws had a quick review and reimbursement payment of claims after my dog went to the emergency animal hospital for advanced pneumonia for several days that resulted in a very expensive stay. I was able to pay for services before charges hit the credit card. There was enough stress as to whether she was going to make it to not have to worry about costs of medical bills to keep her alive and then recover. My dog is doing very well now. Healthy Paws even checked in with me after my dog returned from the hospital to see how she was doing afterwards. They I would highly recommend this pet insurance to anybody as it was also reasonably priced and was worth it for peace of mind and return on investment for a beloved pet and they actually cared as did not have to reach out afterwards. Thank goodness for pet insurance or we would have had to pay $500 for an infection!
