They seek to deny every claim based on pre-existing conditions. I have been with Lemonade for over 2 years and they request full medical history records for every claim. Decisions are delayed for weeks. Switching to Lemonade was a huge mistake. If you haven’t switch yet to Lemonade, DON’T DO IT!

Denied a claim for dentistry with extractions (FORLs) due to a report of mild tartar prior to enrolment (8 years ago). Claim that dental tartar is diagnostic of periodontal disease, this is false.

Multiple problems with numerous submitted claims not entered in the claims system and numerous delays due to the need to resubmit them and the need to contact customer service. Therefore, numerous delays with claim reimbursements. Also, given information on several occasions that is not consistent from customer service representatives.

Pumpkin insurance is great. When I submit a claim they process and review it very quickly. They are professional and fair. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for Pet Insurance.
