My gf (f21) is currently insuring a 2019 gmc terrain for about $225 a month, however she got her March bill and it has more than tripled to $1200+ dollars for this month. Continuing months will be about $800, she has made one claim about a year and a half ago. My question is, is hasting mutual required to give notice of a premium increase and a reason for such increase?

In my naïve early 20s (single and no kids) I bought into a NWM adjustable CompLife policy. Then expanded coverage a few years later at the advise of my “advisor”. I haven’t thought much about it until now, when my new husband and I were looking at our cash flow. I’m now feeling that I need to stop my donations to NWM and be smarter with my investments. I’m not maxing out other retirement options (ROTH, 401), and I feel that would better serve our future. Here’s what I’ve got going on: CompLife policy #1 Started: 09/2016 Annualized premium: $1242.72 (Monthly premium: $103.5) Payments since sept 2016: $102 Total paid: $10,557 Net accumulated value: $7,244 CompLife policy #2 Started: 06/2019 Annualized premium: $1799.40 (Monthly premium: 149.95) Payments since June 2019: 69 Total paid: $10,346 Net accumulated value: $7,068 Total benefit: $500,000 Should I cash this out? Roll it into something else? I don’t feel like NWM has my best interests at heart and I don’t want to be throwing money at an inefficient scheme. TIA

I’m totally shocked whenever I file a claim. SPOT covers more than what I would have ever imagined. I’m impressed with their service and their quality! In my opinion, Spot is great coverage for any pet!

They seek to deny every claim based on pre-existing conditions. I have been with Lemonade for over 2 years and they request full medical history records for every claim. Decisions are delayed for weeks. Switching to Lemonade was a huge mistake. If you haven’t switch yet to Lemonade, DON’T DO IT!
