They seek to deny every claim based on pre-existing conditions. I have been with Lemonade for over 2 years and they request full medical history records for every claim. Decisions are delayed for weeks. Switching to Lemonade was a huge mistake. If you haven’t switch yet to Lemonade, DON’T DO IT!

Thank you for covering my dogs illness in a quick effective manner. Even though he ended up passing, I will 1000% be using Trupanion again when I get another dog and have already added our cats to a plan.

My veterinarian is able to submit my claim directly to Trupanion saving me a lot of time and worry over submitting all the proper paperwork. Trupanion has always come through for us and our pets, doing exactly as they said they would with no debate over coverage. They are simply the best and remove the moral dilemma of choosing our wallets over the proper care for our pets.

The website is easy to use and the response time to my claim and refund was very efficient.

Denied a claim for dentistry with extractions (FORLs) due to a report of mild tartar prior to enrolment (8 years ago). Claim that dental tartar is diagnostic of periodontal disease, this is false.

I expected this to just be direction on how to help my elderly dog. I was wrong. It was way more than that. It is exactly like telehealth for us. The cost was no where near what taking my 16 year old dog to the vet and putting her through the travel and trauma for the same kind of care for what her issues were. Dr Voorhees was amazing. She checked her over to confirm her diagnosis. Prescriptions were called in the same day. They do need to be shipped directly from their pharmacy so still use your veterinarian for emergency issues. They also have an after care plan and a test coming after her antibiotics are finished to make sure the UTI is gone. They’re very thorough. Will be using this company for as long as I own pets

Metlife does a great job providing transparency on the different insurance you can choose from. The price is affordable and is so worth it for our fur babies! I always tell people they should purchase Metlife. It bring me comfort our babies can get the care that they need and we don't have to spend an arm and a leg...or should I say paw.

Multiple problems with numerous submitted claims not entered in the claims system and numerous delays due to the need to resubmit them and the need to contact customer service. Therefore, numerous delays with claim reimbursements. Also, given information on several occasions that is not consistent from customer service representatives.
