I had some difficulty getting access to the portal but eventually they got me access to it.

We've had AKC Pet insurance for several years. Our dog recently started having intestinal issues, so we had a series of visits to the vet. Unfortunately the source of the problem hasn't been determined, so we're still working though it.

Sent this feedback to the company. Clearly they didn’t read my email and asked me to post it on this forum. Your wish is my command.

I bought an AKC insurance with the optional Breeder Coverage Endorsement. I was hoping that it will help in case I need it. Well, they just collect the money and don't even look at the claim, denying it right away. I had to call them, and after a long conversation with an agent, she send me an appeal form that I had to submit with a vet's records and I did. In a few days, I received a new explanation of benefits with a denial code D13 - Fees to diagnose or treat any illness or injury related to breeding, pregnancy, whelping, and nursing, unless you purchase the optional Breeder Coverage Endorsement. Are you kidding?? I was paying extra money every month for that coverage... I called them again and they said that they will send me a new letter with a new denial code and hunged up on me. Horrible insurance company!

This insurance is the biggest scam I’ve ever experienced. I’ve paid ever month for almost a year & submitted 4 claims from my Vet only to have every single one of them being declined, immediately! All claims were “supposed” to be covered & not even a single one was reimbursed. Total & complete waste of almost $1,000.00 dollars, down the drain. Do not make the same mistake I did. Complete bait & switch!

I had some complicated issues I created in my policy and claims. My phone call was answered by a routing choice which was easy and then routed in a timely manner to a person. They immediately understood my issues and resolved them for me. It has been a long, long time since I had such a professional, courteous, results experience.

I can’t even put into words how amazing the customer service I received by Chase was this evening. She was so helpful in explaining every detail about insurance for my 6 pups. Chase was so patient and I never felt like she was rushing me off the phone. She was so kind and her passion for helping others showed in every way. She is very knowledgeable and was on point answering all my questions. She truly cares about animals, she cared about my pups! If there were more humans like Chase in this world - the would be a better place. From the bottom of my heart thank you Chase for all your help. 5 +++ Star for Chase. She is hands down an amazing person! Thank you!

Hannah was the one I spoke with regarding questions about setting up my pets insurance and I will definitely say she was fantastic!! And such a pleasure working with and speaking too super cool and totally informative, and phenomenal customer service.

Allison in sales was phenomenal and absolutely a pleasure to work with. Allison was extremely knowledgeable and listened to exactly what we were looking for in insurance. she is a very personable, funny and made this experience a pleasurable experience. Many things have made my experience great with AKC pet insurance: we got a corgi puppy in November 2023, my first experience with a puppy. I have had other pet insurance coverage, nothing like AKC: AKC covered a claim for when Mochi ate too many indigestibles and had to have a procedure for flushing out his intestines in January, and AGAIN on April 2024...I recently spoke with Matthew, who has a great presence on the phone and is personable, empathetic, and patient with explaining benefits and procedures to me.
