Time will tell me just how good your company is

I just received a notification from Pumpkin regarding an appeal to a claim I submitted and they labeled my dog as having "consistent behaviors of aggression and anxiety." I filed an appeal for a claim that was denied because they decided it was a pre-existing condition. After the 4th of July on a night that I went out, my 7 year old German Shepherd was barking uncontrollably. My neighbor told me there were some large fireworks going off which probably brought on the anxiety, plus he started chewing on some things; for the first time he showed these signs of anxiety. The next day I called the Vet and he prescribed a medication that would calm the dog. Pumpkin originally denied the $57 medication claim because they called it as a pre-existing condition. They again requested all his records from the Vet, it was obvious they were phishing for an excuse to deny the claim. Even my Vet submitted a letter to Pumpkin. They claim that due to his records they found him to be aggressive and they have now labeled him that way.

Checks never arrived. Had to call them many times to see where the checks are. Took over a month to receive my reimbursements .

Takes weeks to months to receive reimbursement.

Would like to go to *my account.... " To verify coverage, ytd reimbursement, etc

Like that our vet is already in the chain of available , but dislaike that theirs no pumpkin app.

Could not upload medical records. Was not sure the application process was concluded.

Underwritten by US Fire Insurance which is owned and operated by Crum & Forster who is pure evil. I have learned that most positive reviews for any C & F underwritten companies are likely paid and planted because when you have billions stashed in the Cayman Islands, you can pay for PR. Total garbage company, greedy little roaches.

I was extremely disappointed that my claim for my cat’s spaying was not considered for insurance. I have heard that getting them spayed is essential in keeping them well. I have an extended policy for preventative health and this was not included. I feel that this is a scam.

Pumpkin is a scam! They would not pay for an ear infection b/c they said it was a preexisting condition! Don't waste your time or money with this group! Look somewhere else for honest service.
