I submitted no claims during the first year of coverage for my 4 year old German Shephard mix. The renewal premium increased by 32%.

They raised the price on me by 40%+ all because my dog got one year older. The only heads up I get is via email saying that my “rate may change.” Ridiculous.

purchased some time ago and this does not say which dog policy this if for. need better communication on this. also see a charge on my credit card for $455.00 for Figo pet insurance and did not receive any notification that there was any renewal on pet insurance due. this is thru Costco and price increase was over $100.00 in 1 year from what I see and no claims made and on a young dog. not happy with the way this was done.

All done on web site wo email notifications. Rate increased wo notice or warning. Will be canceling. Been checking around and can't find Figo as a top pet insurance company.

A lot of my dogs visits and medications given are not covered because of his allergies. Only good reason to have this is truly for emergency surgeries.

I believe I was misled as to what this would cover. ALSO, I just had a 27% increase in my monthly premium, and do NOT know why. BUMMER!!!

They really only cover major trips to the hospital other basic stuff like fleas and ticks have no coverage - even if you are giving your pet the preventative medicine. Outside of catastrophic events, there's not a lot of bang for your buck.

They keep raising premiums even though there were no claims..!

I have had Figo on my Beagle since 2018. The policy started out at around 600 per year. This year's renewal was an incredible 1600 dollars per year. That is a 166% increase. I used to recommend Figo to everyone all the time because they do pay claims fast and according to their policy but since they switched underwriters their increases have been untenable.
