Embrace - I don't even know how to set this up
I don't even know how to set this up. That being said with no one to walk me through all this, I'm probably going to cancel this very soon. On top of that you send way too many emails I don't even know which one is the right one to click on to even get started if I wanted to. Terrible company, tried to sell me like 5000 other things when I tried to call. Couldn't even get a hold of a human being. Again terrible company will never buy anything from embrace insurance ever again

I am very proactive with my canine kid’s healthcare and an advocate for preventative care. Dental cleaning and the recent removal of a lipoma tumor being removed at the same time, suggested by the veterinarian in case it increased in size where it was located could interfere with his mobility. Plus we avoided an additional surgery in the future. This company qualified both procedures as pre-existing even when I submitted cleaning receipt from a year ago! Tumor is pre-existing??
I was paying a little over $100 a month including a supplemental plan! Don’t waste your money with Embrace thinking you will receive coverage. Should never have left Fetch! I don’t recommend this company as their underwriters deny everything!!!

having a problem navigating and submitting information, finally got out and tried to get back in site, would not load, soooooo tried a different way and finally able to submit my claim. never had this problem before, what is going on?????
Embrace - This insurance is a nightmare
This insurance is a nightmare. They never payed off their part, always looked for reasons to deny even though I was with them for 2 years since I got my dog as a 7 week old pup. Spent so much energy appealing every decision, involved my vet who wrote letters of explanations. Now I am done. Canceled the subscription and will never go back there again. I do not recommend getting involved with them even though USAA recommends them. Embrace is terrible, the worst!

Embrace has been sitting on a claim for my dog since August. Her spay had gone wrong and we were in the ER with her bleeding out. (She's well now.) We'd picked Embrace because their marketing material promises to pay the provider directly. Except you need a secret 800-number to even talk to a live person after hours, and nowhere do they provide this info. Flash forward to now, almost two months later, and we're still waiting for reimbursement for a four-figure vet visit. All of the paperwork has been provided, and receipt has been verified, yet they're sitting on the claim and not replying to queries as to when we can expect payment. We've already switched providers. At this point, I am also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the Ohio Department of Insurance, and the NAIC. Under no circumstances should you work with this company.

Embrace - They are absolutely terrible
They are absolutely terrible, do not trust them with your pup insurance they deny, short pay, stall and delay any and all claims. The worst.
Embrace - Felt like retaliation
I’ve had Embrace for 9 years. The rates appear to go up yearly. A few months ago i sent a note telling them their automated system misdiagnosed my dog’s problem. Almost immediately someone at Enbrace contacted my veterinarian and requested my dog’s entire medical record. I was cc’d. They then denied my claim of lameness for reimbursement of Carprofen, stating that the med was for treating a pre-existing diagnosis.
I recently contacted them and asked that they find a way to lower my monthly premium. She agreed, lowered the premium $20 but in exchange I had to agree to a higher deductible.
I am seriously looking for a different insurance company.
Embrace - Not worth it
I bought Embrace pet insurance for emergencies and did not add the wellness package. When my dog had a true emergency at two in the morning (throwing up blood and pooping blood), my claim was denied as “wellness.” This has happened every time I make a claim. Without the wellness package they do not seem to cover anything, so I would not recommend this insurance.
