Embrace - Cost vs Value??????
Overall I am satisfied with the Handling of the Wellness Claims But Having recently increased Premiums without increasing Benefits leaves me somewhat dissatisfied considering the cost of Pet Care has Increased considerably ? An Increase in Wellness Allocation would be greatly Appreciated!!Just Saying!!
Embrace - I have submitted my pet's records…
I have submitted my pet's records multiple times to Embrace and so has my vet. I keep getting messages that I have to resend them and that my claims are on hold until my vet and myself resubmit the invoices. I have met other people that have Embrace and they never had this issue. My vet clinic is surprised also, as they submit many claims to them as well.
Embrace - I like the customer Reimbursement policy
I like the customer service very friendly. I dislike the time frame for getting a reimbursement if any. I dislike the amount you get back for reimbursement. I have upgraded my policy and my reimbursement is still not good.
Embrace - Disappointed and Let Down After Years as a Loyal Member
I’ve been a loyal Embrace customer since 2016, and after nearly a decade of paying monthly premiums, I’m walking away extremely disappointed.
First off, the recent price increase was never discussed, just suddenly pushed onto my account. After nearly 9 years of loyalty and barely using the coverage, I wasn’t even offered a loyalty discount, a downgrade option, or anything to help keep my policy affordable. Just a higher bill.
Even worse, when I decided to cancel my policy, I was given a minimal refund on my Wellness Rewards, despite not using a single dollar of the $250 annual benefit this year. I was refunded only $9.22 how does that even make sense?
As for my claims? I submitted only 3 in 9 years, and not one was ever reimbursed because I didn’t meet the annual deductible. So, not only did I pay every month, I also ended up paying out of pocket for every vet visit. In the end, I got nothing in return but rising costs and frustrating customer service.
This company truly let me down. What hurts most is that after so many years, I expected at least a little effort to keep me as a customer, but instead, I felt ignored, undervalued, and betrayed. I can’t recommend Embrace to anyone looking for real support and fairness.

DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE! ITS A WASTE OF MONEY! If I could give 0 stars I would. We submitted a claim for my dog and they took OVER A MONTH to get back in contact with us, the only reason they did was because we continued to call with rarely having our phone calls even answered. After waiting this whole time they kept giving us the run around and then told us they wouldn’t be giving us any money that we spent at the vet and claimed with them. They wasted our time and money and took advantage of our business. We canceled immediately and I will be sure to let all of my friends and family know not to get this insurance!!

Never seems to cover anything considering dropping had trupanion for other pet they seem to pay more

Filed a claim on June 26, 2025 for vet visit on June 25th. After multiple notes to the vet and myself sending detailed notes still no answer from claims. I called last week and was promised swift process and still nothing. I pay big $$ for an 8 year old cat and the vet visit was under $300.00. I will give them until Friday, 5 weeks post filing claim and if no decision I will file a BBB and Elderly fraud alert. Our vet recommended Embrace so I will let them know the outcome.
Embrace - Waiting toooooo long for claim to be resolved.
Submitted my claim for my pet on 7/2/25. The site keeps saying pending medical review. It's been 25 days and still no answer. Sent an email message inquiring why this is taking so long to make a decision on my claim-----NO ANSWER!!!! Totally unacceptable.
Embrace - It is impossible to reach anybody
It is impossible to reach anybody on the phone for any reason whatsoever. This is not useful. Whether they are any good as an insurance company or not, which I don't think they are, they at least have to pick up the freaking phone. They give you these long long long long long speeches when you press an option as if you're a flaming idiot who doesn't know how to read an explanation of Benefits and they're obviously trying to prevent you from reaching a human being and I never found out how to reach a human being. I just kept pressing zero forever until somehow it turned into hold music. Then I was on hold for about 20 minutes and I said never mind and I gave up because I don't have this kind of time. I really think these guys suck personally
Embrace - Outrageous raise in rates
They raised my rates by something like $75 after being with them for only two years. I was already paying 180 something a month and I'm already using a high deductible with a low percent return (70%) to keep the costs down. Yes I've had claims, but nobody raises anybody's insurance by that much. I've never even had my car insurance go up by more than about $30 and this is simply pet insurance. They're not paying out thousands and thousands of dollars for every incident like a car insurance company and yet they have rates equivalent to car insurance which is insane. They are just like any other insurance company -- out to rip you off. They did a terrible job with our medical history so that something idiotic like "occasionally eats a dead animal" is somehow a pre-existing condition even though I explained to them it only happened once when she was an infant. That's the most ridiculous pre-existing condition I've ever heard of. And then after they had made a full assessment of pre-existing conditions from her medical records, her first claim was denied because they went back AGAIN and searched even harder to find a reason to deny it. All of a sudden now her arthritis isn't covered even though she didn't develop it until after I started working with these morons. They are cheats and they are liars and they have terrible customer service.
