Embrace - Worst company ever!!
Worst company ever!!! A huge waste of money!
Embrace - Pet Insurance Is A Scam
We've been members with Embrace for nearly 7 years. We went from paying ~$30/mo. to now ~$190/mo. for our Great Dane.
In the past 7 years of her life, we have paid 80% more in insurance for her than we have for her standard vet bills.
While I understand we are lucky our dog has been healthy - not covering or having to pay additional for wellness is absurd. Rather if we put that $200/mo. into a savings account each month for the course of our dogs life, we would have both the funds to pay for their vet coverage AND potentially have left over at the end of its life.
What is truly sad is that in the US where hundreds of thousands of animals are euthanized each year, affordable insurance and pet care is dwindling more and more.
I cannot in good faith recommend Embrace to anyone and will also be contacting USAA about the scam of a partnership.
Embrace - I've been with this company for a very…
Telling me about your policy and I'm sorry that I didn't whatever with your policy does not help. You guys should be covering my dog's allergies because he was covered under your insurance for a while before he had those allergies come up with and because of a technicality that the last checkup he had was too old for you to use you won't cover it . That is BS you suck and all you wanted to do was just not allow a claim to go through that's what insurance companies do they rip people off . You're not any different. It was a few days I'm sure maybe a week too old for you guys that's ridiculous after all the money I've spent with you for years having Insurance on all my pets with you when Sam passes I'm canceling everyone's insurance from your company you have me stuck right now. I've been with this company for a very long time. The reason I'm giving them a two is because of something terrible they've done. My dog had a physical and when I got the insurance the physical was too old for them to use this is 2 years later I find out he has allergies he started getting allergies and they won't cover it because of his expired time frame of his physical. They know damn well that didn't start until 2 years into his insurance. I think that's terrible that screwed up and that's not a good way to keep customers. The only reason I'm still with him is because I have a dog that's 16 years old and he needs his insurance. Otherwise I would have left I'm just waiting for Sam not to be around anymore and I'm done with them. That is the crappiest thing I've ever had any company do the worst customer service ever. Just trying to rip me off after I've been paying for my two older dogs insurance and now cashes. And that's awful. Very bad business very very bad business
Embrace - Has been a really bad experience not…
Has been a really bad experience not even covering half of the emergency and paid after 3 months has been the worst insurance I'd ever had and I am trying to cancel it and now you don't even let that and I'll report it
Embrace - Embrace's customer care phone number and credit card policy…
Embrace's customer care phone number listed on their web page leads you to an AI generated insurance site peddling Medicare devices. They refuse to remove your credit card information from their business.
Embrace - Absolutely the worst company for pet…
Update, after getting vet to write a leeter confirming this was not a preexisting condition. They asked for vet notes. And because he had pancreatitis in March and unrelated event in late December they say it is preexisting condition. Pleasr avoid this company if you have older dog. I had to switch after my previous insurance provider stopped providing pet insurance. I wish i never heard of this company. They twist information to fight any claim.
Absolutely the worst company for pet insurance. My dog of 12 years had this insurance after previous provider closed up. Right before the end of year I ended up in ER and few days later lost him. They pulled from a vomit issues from over a year to deny my claims as preexisting condition. Totally unrelated. If you have this insurance be prepared to have to fight. And this whole experience has me re living the events when I lost my little buddy.
Embrace - Penny pinchers and not worth it.
My husband and I have a 4 year old dog going on 5. We had embrace for 1 year. During that time, they upped our monthly from $63 to $90 a month because of, "inflation". This was the LESSER of the plans. The thing that made us cancel was we went to take our dog to his annual wellness visit, which cost us $290. Because we had scheduled our wellness visit 4 days sooner than 1 year due to the vet's scheduling conflicts (we needed our dog to get the flu and bordatella shots in order to keep going to dog daycare), they refused to reimburse us. Because of FOUR DAYS. We cancelled, I can't believe they'd forego over $1K a year because they didn't want to reimburse us 70% of $290 ($203). If it's this bad now I can't even imagine when my dog actually gets sick what a nightmare it would be.
Embrace - I liked the most of the process
I liked the most of the process. It was very difficult to select the hospital. Had to try 20 to 30 times to input. Very frustrating!!!! Otherwise would have given it 5 starts. I had 14 claims to file so it was difficult. Otherwise the app works great
Embrace - Embrace Pet Insurance: A Year of Premiums, Zero Coverage, and Dishonest practices.
"After a year of faithfully paying premiums to Embrace Pet Insurance, I'm utterly disappointed and feel completely misled. My experience with their claims department has been nothing short of a nightmare.
In January, my cat sprained her paw, and I took her to the vet for an examination and diagnosis. I submitted my first claim, expecting a straightforward reimbursement, especially since the vet bill was less than my deductible. Instead, I've been met with a frustrating runaround.
Embrace is now demanding 'notes' from my cat's pre-existing veterinary records, despite having already received and approved those records when I initially signed up. They claimed all information was complete and issued my policy. Now, when I need them most, they're suddenly claiming they need more information. This feels like a blatant attempt to avoid paying a legitimate claim.
The fact that they requested and received the full veterinary history prior to issuing the policy, and then demanded additional "notes" after a claim was submitted, shows a lack of integrity. This is not how an honest company operates.
After a year of paying premiums and dealing with this frustrating experience, I've cancelled my policy with Embrace. I cannot recommend this company to anyone who values their pet's health or their peace of mind. They are not an honest company, and their claims process is designed to frustrate and deny legitimate claims. Avoid Embrace Pet Insurance at all costs."
Embrace - Complete scam
Complete scam . Had the insurance for over a year . Never went over my deductible. As soon as I got close to the deductible they raised my monthly rate by 75$! Almost doubled it
