Embrace - Research carefully
Please research carefully before selecting this company.
I don't object to their nonpayment of claims.
They appear to select any reason to not pay a claim.
Not only did I have to endure the trauma of burying her, here are two distressing excerpts from their response to my euthanazia claim.
'This condition and any related conditions or clinical signs would be eligible for coverage in the future provided your pet remains free of signs/symptoms/treatment for a full 12 months from the most recent occurrence'.
'As such, these and any future masses (including cancer) would be excluded from coverage by the policy.'
Embrace - In the end, it's a corporation after all.
Despite the opinions of a team of internists and renal specialists, Embrace declined coverage for kidney failure in our two-year old cat, stating her condition was pre-existing. We had to euthanize her having already spent more than $5000 for her treatment. I am a veterinarian myself and cannot recommend Embrace. Put your money into a high-yield savings account or other emergency fund instead.
Embrace - This company find anyway not to pay…
This company find anyway not to pay claims please do your research. And they do not have the best customer service and call back
Embrace - The only reason this is a 2 instead of…
The only reason this is a 2 instead of a 1 is because their 24-hour Paw Support has good vets available for questions that can help you avoid a vet visit. But OMG - otherwise, they are crooks. They raise your premium every single year significantly and find every excuse for a pre-existing condition to be recorded for your pet, and then of course there's a deductible. It just makes more sense to self-insure. They're really more concerned with making money than build any kind of supportive ecosystem for you and your pets.
Embrace - Very little has been paid for from any…
Very little has been paid for from any of my claims. Not sure where the monthly funds are going, I may cancel it if they do not cover any of my latest claim.
Embrace - Worth the money?
I pay $770+ a year for an insurance policy. When we took our dog to the vet it cost us over $600. We were reimbursed $80. The math isn’t mathing.
Embrace - It’s about making a profit, not about the pet or the pet owner
It’s all about money and not about the pet owners like I have always said and I will continue to say so. This is why I’m not keeping it. The company is making money, not losing money with the pet owners. I would not recommend Embrace to anyone.
Embrace - Not Run By People Who Actually Have Pets
I have paid more than $1,000 in premiums for my two dogs in less than a year. Last week I submitted a claim for one dog who had an upset stomach, which resulted in vomiting and diarrhea. They denied my claim, which would have only gone against my annual deductible. The reason is that my dog had an upset stomach and vomited 10 months ago per vet records they collected. I didn't even submitted a claim for that vomiting. This company is a grift. They don't understand that they are in the business of covering dogs, who sometimes eat a street treat off the ground.
Embrace - Bye bye Embrace
Embrace was hard to deal with 4 years ago when I signed up. Lots of issue with them not getting my dogs vet records and then I find out months later I wasn't covered due to them, they never notified me of this either. Now 4 years later and I don't think I had any claims with 3 dogs insured my rates went up almost 60%. Found a new company promptly
Embrace - denied only claim in 2 1/2 years of coverage
I had a policy for 3 of my pets for 2 and a half years, when I submitted my first claim, they listed the illness as a preexisting condition and deny my claim. I strongly recommend anyone review the experience their customers have with claims before signing up
