I have submitted my receipt several times. I have 2 dogs that were both seen the same day. Each dog has totals on the receipt followed by tax and total. Each time you send it back saying the receipt is not readable. This is total BS. The receipt is CLEAR, your just not wanting to honor your part!

UPDATE: This is a canned response and is not in any way an answer. Corporations are all gouging us and all record profits they are making showing the gouging increases are not necessary. Just look at all corporations profits. They are not satisfied making money they are greedy and want more and more and more from us! Money we simply do not have! Until we stop buying from the corps doing this they won’t stop! The control is in our hands. Notice their answer is for us to pay MORE out of pocket to lower premiums which is counter to the reason for buying insurance to help SAVE US FROM MORE OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES. They want to charge us more and give us less. Again, that’s corporate gouging.

We have been with Embrace since 2007. We used to pay $200 a month for 3 Mastiffs at one time with $200 deductible & 90% coverage, but now we are down to 1 mastiff and he is at 80% & $500 deductible and paying way over $200 per mo. This is LUDICROUS. You have made it so that Bastian is our LAST MASTIFF & maybe last dog because as we go into retirement with only Social Security to live on there is no way we can afford it - we can barely afford the payments now while still working. Many dogs will now die because people are being forced to cut back and not have them because they are too much of an expense all because of CORPORATE GOUGING & GREED. Shame on you all. I am so disappointed and heart broken because these mastiffs are the best breed in the world.
Embrace - they ask for a reason for the claim but…hard to address claim issues
they ask for a reason for the claim but only give you some choices, none of which resemble the reason for the claim. They simply don't let you say what happened. This is done so they can say that a condition exists which it was just an injury.
Embrace - Needs improvement
Website and app are difficult to use (very slow response times and glitchy user interface). Not sure the insurance is really worth the money for routine and minor vet bills, but it provides some sense of peace of mind in the event something really awful happens.

After taking a full day to get quotes and read reviews we settled on Embrace for our insurance needs. Seven short months and zero claims later we received a "friendly reminder" letter that our premiums were nearly doubling! Obviously we canceled but what caught my attention was when the agent asked me "well is there a middle ground here"? I said "So are you offering to lower the price now that I have called"? I said, "The only way a price goes up like this is if it is a "bait and switch" or poor business management and we want neither." BEWARE

Whenever I submit claims they ask for a history from my vet. My vet immediately sends them but Embrace keeps sending messages stating they didn't receive them. So then I have to ask for the same exact thing and send it with a message stating they were supplied the same day it was requested.
This has happened to me more than once, my vet tells me that it always happens to them with this company.
Just be aware you will have to do more leg work than normal.

I am getting tired of repeat requests for invoices. This is so annoying when you are quick to collect your money for this policy.
Embrace - This company is a scam
This company is a scam. I’ve had my puppy for 5 months. I took her to the vet once because I thought maybe she had a UTI because she was peeing a lot. They ran a bunch of tests and couldn’t even confirm she had a UTI but gave her an antibiotic. The doctor said she had a recessed vulva but most of the time puppies grow out of it.
A couple months later she got a little stomach bug and had some diarrhea. They gave her an antibiotic and probiotic to help her belly. I don’t think either of these issues are uncommon for puppies. A couple weeks later I get an email from embrace saying they are deeming her with a recessed vulva as a preexisting condition and they are excluding any and all treatment of her entire vaginal area as a permanent exclusion to reimbursement. They also, get this, are making VOMITING a preexisting condition ALONG WITH ANY AND ALL CLINICALLY RELATED SYSTEMS a preexisting condition that they will make permanent if my puppy gets sick again within the NEXT YEAR. It’s a complete waste of money. Basically, anything that you take your puppy to the vet for will be deemed a preexisting condition during their grossly long waiting period. It’s just a way for them to collect your money and not have to pay out for anything. If you get this insurance, keep your dog in a bubble for the entire waiting period.
Embrace - Waste of money
My shi tzu was diagnosed with glaucoma before I signed up for Embrace. So all my claims involving his eyes even when it’s not due to glaucoma got denied. Then I found out that my premium was going up this month. So I canceled it. Then they offered me a lower rate that would cover more. It didn’t make sense at all. I still canceled it. I just wasted $35.74 every month for over a year. Then they charged my credit card for the new rate of $53.67 on the day I canceled the insurance. I disputed the charge. It’s still under review.
