Not worth it

Poor communication throughout claims process. Claims take a long time to settle. I’m shopping around for alternative pet insurance. Website has unreliable functionality. Claim will state to upload documents, but no button to click to upload.

Be careful. The flagged my pet with a pre existing condition of “allergies” and so now they flag any issues as “allergy” to not reimburse. I had to rush my dog the an urgent vet because he was bitten by a spider in the neck which caused inflammation, raspy breathing, and swelling. $262 vet bill for an antibiotic shot. ASPCA denied my claim within a day since apparently that falls under allergies… Called in, was told the decision was final but I could jump through multiple hoops to try and dispute it with a long vague explanation that included me mailing in a letter. (Idk if true but that’s what I was told)

They randomly do not cover things because they do not understand usage and treatments.

Generally I don't have a problem with the insurance, the damn chatbot is so freakingly unbelievably annoying that they are lucky I couldn't rate it at 0 stars. The only reason I gave it two stars is that when in the past I could get ahold of a person they were very good to work with.

$130 dollars a month, finally submit a claim, and denied with no explanation? My dog needs injections. Now paying $130 for insurance and $100 for each injection. What is the point of having this at all? What is actually covered? Extremely unclear. Certainly will not remain a member and would never recommend to anyone else. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed.

Told me that though my cat was undiagnosed (lymphoma), her symptoms (throwing up) started before the start date of my plan and so no expenses toward her survival would be covered.

They really don't cover much and the deductible is high, and they did not apply ANYTHING from my last vet visit to my deductible, no explanation. The claim process is relatively easy and the phone reps are nice and helpful, but for every single claim they want the SOAP notes from the vet. I've never had to do this with other pet insurance companies.

My horse fell and had an injury due to the accident of falling. My claim was denied. Seems like they will do anything possible to not pay out on a claim

My dog received 2 vaccines as followup to his yearly well visit: Leptospira 4Servovar Vaccine, 1yr and Bordetella Parainfluemza IN 1yr.
