The worst insurance company Ive every worked with. They always find loopholes in their terms & policies not to cover your vet expenses.

filing claims could and should be easier. I switched to AKC from HealthyPaws due to cost, but am reconsidering going back.

Note: I originally posted this review for the wrong PetPlan. This is the one in the U.S. that changed since I signed up with them. Since I wrote this review, one of my cats has died and I'm waiting for PetPlan to pay for the final bills.

I know many other plans offer holistic healing like covering the cost for herbs, acupuncture, chiropractic care and physical therapy. This plan does not.

Op de reisverzekering een claim ingediend (1e keer ooit dat ik iets claim). Ingediend op 20 april 2018, tot op heden geen enkele reactie. Je kan via Mijn NowGo de status van de claim bekijken. Er stond bij vermeld dat er binnen drie dagen uitsluitsel gegeven zal worden. Na een paar weken maar een email nagestuurd met de vraag hoe het er mee stond. Geen reactie, nou ja; binnen Mijn NowGo hadden ze wel de tekst verwijderd dat er binnen drie dagen gereageerd zou worden.

I don't know why this company got 5 stars??? I have been with them over 2 years, recently my pet got urine blockage and spent $7000 but this company refused the claims because we didn't do check up every year as the reason they told which I didn't get any mentioned before as their term and policy (Hidden clause). I told them even we do check up every year won't find out urine blockage which happened as emergency and we insured over 2 years. but they still refuse to pay . I think they only want collect money won't want to pay. STAY AWAY

They’re ok but the premium is very high. I have two dogs, one of which is a French Bulldog, and pay a lot of $$$

Reimbursement cap on required medications disappointing and limits value of policy. Dogs are 15 and 12 and I am delighted I am still blessed to have them. Too bad policy does not support meds required for longevity.

I found that there was very little explanation of the plan I purchased and never having had pet insurance I didn’t know the right questions to ask. Not until I needed it to cover a surgical expense was I told the bottom line of the coverage and all the “uncovered” specifics. Also I was never told that the premiums would increase with the age of the pet. They have requested copies of my pets files from the vet and she’s has written numerous letters to obtain coverage of services or prescriptions. It very annoying and time consuming for the vet. The customer service people are always very nice but I would never again purchase an insurance plan from Pet Partners. It is the integrity of the corporation that I have a problem with. My advice for pet owners is to create a savings account for your pet by putting the amount of monthly premiums in that account for future use.
