Embrace - I do have a Embrace pet insurance for scrappy
I don’t like Embrace pet insurance because it doesn’t cover much for your pet and also every time you call them in they’re expecting you to give a review about that individual well I find that very insulting. I also very rude because my attitude is this if someone wants to give a good review they’re gonna do it on their own. The company does not need to be asking for review from a Customer. Last year I was joining a gym with my wife so we could exercise. The manager came out and said I’d like you to give me a good review so I can get a pay raise And that was very insulting because the gym itself was dirty. No one has the right to ask someone for a review. I feel embraces more about making a profit than it is about the pets. I don’t like the company. I keep it right now because I need something for my dog, I just don’t think it’s worth Having a company like this, that is asking for a review. i’m gonna be looking into other pet insurance for my dog. I’m not saying I will get rid of them because I don’t know right now. I’m thinking about it. I will give them a five star when they stop asking for a review from its customers. I cannot stand this about Embrace.
MetLife - Claims take so LONG
I'm very frustrated with Met Life Pet Ins. b/c their claims process is NOT 5 to 10 business days as they like to advertise. This is deceiving and simply a lie. I submitted a claim for my dog on 11/26/24 and so far, crickets. I sent an email last week for an update, and still, no reply. I will tell you that my claims have been paid BUT, it's simply a painfully slow waiting game. Are they short-staffed? is this why the claims process takes seemingly forever?? Customer service needs to improve: respond to our emails, have a better chat set up. Your chat box is almost always down! You guys are a multi million dollar company...why the lame chat, the lack of communication, the leaving-us-clients-hanging? It's really a disservice and I'm just plain fed up.

Submitted a claim and there has been no update; even if not approved I would expect at least some form of update.
Desjardins - Terrible Company to get Pet Insurance from
This company will not give you accurate information about the required policy cancellation steps, doesn't comply with their own insurance policy agreements, and will charge you for a policy they have confirmed has been cancelled over the phone (and then imply you're being dishonest when you tell them you weren't told policies cannot be canceled over the phone). 0/10 recommendation for pet insurance, this company is terrible.
Embrace - Terrible
Terrible. Took well over a month to get it processed, low transparency on why they elected what they did. They issued and sent a check without any confirmation about where I wanted that to be deposited and sent so I have yet to even receive the very small amount they offered. I took my dog for an emergency And they are barely paying anything. I am so unsatisfied I’ve messaged them and not heard anything back.Do not recommend.
Trupanion - Threatened with cancellation due to unsupported, undisclosed app payment management
I had a frustrating and trust-destroying experience with Trupanion due to serious issues with their payment system and app. After updating my payment details in November (due to a frozen card), I continued to receive past-due notices despite the app showing my account was up to date. A cancellation notice arrived in December, yet Trupanion still charged my card days later.
When I contacted support, I was informed the app is no longer supported — a fact not disclosed anywhere within the app, leaving paying customers vulnerable to errors with sensitive information like payment details. This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable. If the app isn’t supported, it should be removed, or at the very least, include clear messaging to warn users.
This ordeal has destroyed my trust in Trupanion. I don’t feel secure relying on their services for my pets or my financial data. Until these issues are addressed, I cannot recommend them.

Embrace has always been easy to deal with...until this small claim. I have downloaded health information several times because they wanted it for this claim and I am getting no response. I just restarted the same claim. Hope I get results this time
Embrace - Not great
Not great, a lot of back and forth about required med documents. Not clear what was needed for a claim. Denied coverage on probiotics, prescribed by the vet, used to minimize side effects of drugs.
Embrace - Honestly have had issue after issue…
Honestly have had issue after issue with you guys. And during all the appeal process I was unable to claim the most expensive surgery required. So very unhappy
