I still don't have any information for my new policy

I have a dog and absolutely love Figo Pet Insurance! From the start, the experience has been smooth, transparent, and stress-free. The sign-up process was easy, and I really appreciated the customizable plans that allowed me to choose the coverage that fit my needs and budget.

I was misled around just how little would be covered without the Wellness plan, and now I'm left with almost thousands in vet expenses for my kitten that my insurance plan won't cover. To find out that the basic plan covers none of the costs of standard care and procedures associated with caring for a kitten by receiving a rejection notice for my insurance claim was fairly jarring and made the insurance plan feel pretty useless and parasitic. Yes, the details are within the policy document, but they're also buried within dense text, and they were not adequately explained to me when I was signing up for my plan.

I’ve owned dogs my entire life and have volunteered for the Humane Society for many years. This is the first time I purchased pet insurance and I will never do it again based on my experience with Lemonade. Lemonade is by far the most disgraceful insurance company I’ve ever worked with. They will take any tiny little word out of the history of your pets health and completely turn it against you. I adopted a dog and literally purchased this insurance just days later. Because she had diarrhea after changing her from the shelter food, they immediately refused to pay for any kind of gastrointestinal issues due to newly developed IBD even a full year later. Not only that, because she’s a scared dog and had a stress related heart murmur in her very first vet visit, they would not cover arrhythmias due to a heart issue that she developed later in life. This company is a prime example of why people demonize health insurance. Their behavior is absolutely disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Do not waste your time or money, this company is an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!!!

Still waiting for my reimbursement for my claim. I emailed. So far no response.

They are horrible. I have sent in multiple review requests and tried to email for explanations. I have had the vet send in information, but they have not responded to any of the emails. They have been happy to take my money for absolutely nothing and IGNORE ME.

I was surprised at the service I received. I have been with Nationwide for a long time with all my other pets and have never had any issues with the customer service. I spoke to Hassan and he was very short with his answers and seemed annoyed with my questions and kept on yawning like I was boring him. This was the first time I experienced anything like this from a Nationwide representative. If I were a new customer I don’t think I would have agreed to getting a policy for my pet. He was also very pushy. It was a unpleasant experience.

I was having difficulty obtaining a quote online. This may have been due to the fact that this townhome is a new construction. I called the 833 number provided and started to explain the situation and was promptly hung up on at 602 pm on 9/15/25. So much for the referral by the closing attorney!!!

I was disappointed to learn that there was a $300 deductible that isn't met right away. I thought that the total invoice would meet deductible but found out only partial dollars of invoice are used , So one would have to see vet multiple times before meeting deductible. That wasn't clearly elaborated to me. Also, they take their time reimbursing

My policy has gone in ten years from $360.00 per year to $3600.00 per year for the same amount of coverage.
